Tocumwal Angling Club - Caring for the Murray

The Tocumwal Angling Club was formed in 1994 by a group of local residents who believed that there was a great need to care for and re-stock the Murray River within and around Tocumwal.

The Club is not just about fishing, but about making people aware of the environmental and ecological aspects of caring for the Murray River and its inhabitants.

The Club is a non-profit organisation with most of its funds being raised from Memberships, Raffles, Donations & Sponsorships.

At present the Club has over 100 members, including Juniors and Families, with many of those being from interstate. Our members are committed to helping re-stock the Murray River and to date the Club has released over 2000,000 Native Fish into the Murray River in and around Tocumwal to help maintain the excellent recreational fishing facilities in the area.

The Club holds regular family orientated fishing weekend competitions, "bloke weekends" and outings locally and away.

We are constantly of the lookout for new members and sponsors, if you would like to become a member or wish to sponsor or offer support for the club, please contact our President or Secretary.
